Farmhouse Fall Decorating {Part 2}

I hope your week is off to a good start!

This is our boys' last week of summer vacation, and it's hitting us hard. For some reason, I thought it would get easier as they got older. But it hasn't. Not for any of us. We are clinging to summer like white on rice. ;)

In an effort to help transition us to the back-to-school season that is now staring us in the face approaching, I'm sharing the second part of "Farmhouse Fall Decorating," taken from our home last year...

Though each year looks and feels different, fall has got to be the coziest season of all! Lighting candles doesn't seem optional, and the leaves changing colors add a brightness and beauty to even the most grey Seattle days.

And though I hate to say goodbye to summer, I just may be dreaming of some new farmhouse fall touches and projects for us to tackle this season... You too??

I may be biased, but I think our area has some of the most charming pumpkin patches around! We love visiting a few each year. Our boys have graduated from riding the trains to launching pumpkin catapults, but it's still so much fun.

I'm thankful for a special summertime with my family, and I know there are good times ahead too...

I hope you're savoring these last days of summer and feeling hopeful for the coming season...

Thank you for visiting!
